Acrylic, Ink & Glitter I 2021
I started this during a group painting session at friends and inadvertently got 3 lines of paint appear during transport back home, which got transformed into trees. It always works out doesn’t it. A bit of an unusual painting for me, being a little more realistic and sober. I enjoyed adding the shape within the trees with some gathered a few loose brush hairs offering fine lines. I also added some golden glitter in one ink which come out well.

I worked a lot with some triangular sponges (maybe for makeup?) dipped in multiple colors and make strokes, and here added dots over time. They are the same family and yet still individually different.

Would you believe it started from grey? Summer days always come and I like the cheerful feel of this. It flows, has flowers, it is full of life.

Turquoise is one of my favorite colors, and I enjoyed adding a sense of movement by breaking the big strokes with dots and lines and some bright glittery flowers.

I recall being on my balcony canvas flat on the floor making this first piece on canvas since years. I just moved to a condo after being drawing on my walls directly in the last 2 homes. A growing plant, made with triangular sponges. - Amazingly this was my first sell when i opened to sell years later!

Within the same feel as the other flower paintings, I aimed for movement, emotions of joy or breaking through.
